Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Johns Hopkins Community Physicians is looking for an LPN work in the Maryland Suburban Region.
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the ambulatory care practice works under the direction of the Provider and in accordance with the Maryland Nurse Practice Act.
The LPN functions as an integral part of the interdisciplinary health care team to provide the highest quality of care to the patient.
Prepares and assesses patients for provider visit.
Ensures exam rooms are neat, clean and stocked.
Observes, records and reports patient responses to medical care provided during appointment.
Prepares, administers and documents medications and vaccinations as ordered by provider and/or standing order policy.
Assists provider with office procedures and collection of specimens.
Processes prescriptions per provider instruction and policy.
Adheres to infection control and hand hygiene guidelines during all patient care activities.
Recognizes and adheres to National Patient Safety Goals and JH Safety policies.
Reports safety concerns promptly via PSN system.
Performs Environment of Care laboratory quality control per policies.
Contributes to team and practice site operations by covering co-workers and providers during training, meetings, and lunch and/or as needed.

Non-exempt, - Full-time 40 hours per week Requirements:
Diploma in nursing from an accredited school of nursing.
Ability to demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the ages of the patients served in the department.
Ability to learn and use a computer based patient appointment scheduling and registration system.
Current Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Maryland.
Current CPR certification.
If bilingual, must successfully pass the required JHM approved designated language assessment prior to receiving employment.
Successful candidates must complete all required training within 30 days of hire.
Two years nursing experience preferred.
Experience working in an outpatient or ambulatory care facility preferred.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
