Senior Engineer, Spectrum Management

LinQuest is seeking multiple senior spectrum engineers to support a new customer at our Odenton, MD office.
Spectrum management is a finite resource and its superiority is a warfighting imperative.
As a member of the team, you assist in the management of spectrum analysis enabling our warfighters to see threats, navigate, guide weapons and communicate in all situations.

As a member of this team, you will support the client's Spectrum Management operations, research and strategic planning mission maximizing the efficient use of the Electromagnetic Spectrum supporting national security and military objectives.
Responsibilities:
Conduct analyses and engineering studies and provide EMS recommendations for specific exercises/contingencies, equipment, and/or site guidelines.
As a member of the team, you will direct/support co-site analyses, antenna modeling, frequency-dependent rejection or frequency-distance predictions, or other analysis.
Prepare technical reports evaluating operational frequency assignments based on propagation, EMS considerations, and frequency allocationsProvide technical knowledge and analysis of highly specialized applications and operational environments, high-level functional systems analysis, design, integration, documentation and implementation advice.
Participates as needed in all phases of engineering with emphasis on analysis, testing, planning, integration, documentation, and operation phases.
Required Skills:
BS Electrical/Electronic Engineering with 10 years of RF and Spectrum Management ExperienceActive TS/SCI DoD Clearance is required to be considered for this positionStrong interpersonal, problem-solving, organization, client relationship, multi-tasking, load-balancing skill.
Ability to interface and effectively communicate with mission and technical personnel at multiple levels.
Ability to maximize the use of Modeling and Simulation tool suites to answer Spectrum concerns, predictions, or perform other analyses.
Ability to travel as needed, possibly international travel required.
Desired Skills:
Master of Science in Electrical Engineering with 10-years of experienceAbility to developing electromagnetic compatibility standards.
Excellent test and integration background with the ability to use analysis methods, test equipment and systems for identification of interference and to recommending solutions for implementations.
Ability to modify tools and models to quickly test new threats and propose work around/new solutions.
Experience providing radio relay and high frequency (HF) propagation predictions and coverage analyses.
Present results in the form of coverage overlays and plots shall depict propagation path loss and signal power levels around a transmitter, considering such parameters as transmitter output power, antenna gains, earth electrical properties, ambient noise, and the topographic data describing the area of operations.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
