Summary:
Initiate all technical activities in the area of the model from the factory of origin Monitor analysis and measures within the failure resolution process Optimize the technical analysis of field problems Support of new models and current products with regards of electronics Analysis of production processes / checking the results of the improvement actions Coordination of reports / information between VWGoA, the different PQT s and the factory of origin Quality and cost reporting as well as optimization of processes Job
Responsibilities:
Monitoring vehicle quality based on corporate company standards, including specific market regulations Preparation for special tasks , ie,New Model Launches, Stop Orders, Accessories Installation, Transport Protections, Logistics of Parts, etc.
Coordination of factory personnel and training of US employees on a specific inspection and/or repair Conduct and monitor processes within the area of responsibility Ensure and effective, on-time and customer-oriented implementation of tasks within the area of responsibility Responsible of factory equipment and quality of results Support PQT team with factory vehicle and process information and recommendations as required Required Education:
Bachelor s Degree in Engineering or equivalent degree or equivalent work experience Desired Education:
Master s Degree Experience Required:
3-5 years Skills Required:
Knowledge of assembly processes and QM systems in factory of origin Fluent English Fluent German Work Flexibility:
Flexibility during vessel/train arrivals, during actions, stop orders and/or market introductions, which could require overtime, weekend and holidays work Travel to other ports for follow up or coordination of stop orders and/or market introductions, as per need We are proud to be an EEO employer M/F/D/V.
